When fulfilment is too simple to accept

In a weird way we fear simplicity. We fear that it really is that simple. It really is that easy. This really is it.

Because when that’s the case.. then what have we been doing all this time? What has all the struggle, all the fighting, all the pain been for?— “it can’t be this simple”

After having gone through all that you have, it almost hurts that it’s that simple. There’s a grief, mourning and death that happens if you really were to accept it.

Thought experiment example:

What if everything was exactly perfect? What if where you are now, who you are, how the world is— everything— is exactly perfect?

Your mind might come up with all different reasons on why it’s not. But what if even the pain, the suffering, death, the struggle, is perfectly imperfect? What if all those things aren’t the enemy? What if there is no enemy? What if there’s nothing to fix, change or shift? What if there’s no meaning other than the fact that it is? What if letting go of old habits, negative feelings etc, was really as simple as to just let go— the same way you’d let go of a stick from your hand.

What would that tell you about you? What would that mean for you?

How you respond to reading this and how you respond to fully exploring this thought experiment, will show you a lot about yourself and why you’re still holding on to struggle, pain, grief etc.

It’s a death of your ego’s desires. Because if everything is here now, everything is perfect, and it really is that simple. That would mean all your desires aren’t needed for you to get what you want.

But you’ve attached yourself to these things because “you want them”. But want is ego. The soul already has. Not because of something external, but because it is all. Everything happens from within its cosmic whomp, which is you.

So all you thought you wanted, comes to die. You no longer need any of it to receive what you truly want from it. And it takes some time and space to grief and mourn that process before you can fully allow yourself to be in this eternal state of bliss, love and service
