The 3 day reset challenge
Hi Beautiful soul!
If you came here from my YouTube video, thank you so much for being here and for walking this path with me. If not, you can watch the video here — I share my honest reflections on the shifts that happened when I gave myself three full days without distractions.
Here you’ll find the full challenge explained.
Why do the no distraction - reset Challenge?
We live in a world that constantly pulls us out of ourselves. Notifications. Endless scrolling. Background noise. Even things that look “productive” — like cleaning more than necessary or making elaborate dinners — can become distractions that keep us from sitting with what’s really alive inside.
So I decided to give myself a reset: three days of no distractions.
A chance to come back to the stillness within me, to strip away all the noise and meet myself exactly as I am. To see whats alive in me and move through it all so I’d feel lighter at the end.
The Rules of the Challenge
Main focus:
Keep anything to a minimum that puts your focus or energy to something external.
The Intentions:
To be willing to stop distracting myself from what is true and real.
To be willing and open to see, feel, and become aware of what’s alive in me — allowing my thoughts and feelings to "finish" themselves
To be willing to return to stillness, presence, clarity, and direction.
To direct my energy and focus inward. Anything that pulls my focus to the external, is kept to a minimum
What’s not allowed:
❌ No social media
❌ No online entertainment (Netflix, Music, YouTube, etc.)
❌ No podcasts (except for 1 intentional hour a day of something truly nourishing for the mind and soul)
❌ No unnecessary conversations
❌ No busy-work (no “extra” cleaning, not going outside more than usual, no overcomplicated meals — keep food simple and nourishing)
❌ No constant guided meditations
But it’s not just about outer distractions.
I also started noticing the inner ones: the racing thoughts, the judgments, the constant pull into the past or future. And see how even those are distraction of what is true — distractions of my peace and full potential.
What’s allowed:
✅ Breath Awareness — connecting to your body and energy through just following your breath with presence
✅ Get curious about distractions — even thoughts can pull you away from the now.
✅ Be willing — the magic from this challenge will only show itself through your willingness to bring yourself back into presence. No distraction. The more willing, the more powerful.
✅ Meditation or silence — sitting in stillness, even if it feels uncomfortable at first
✅ Journaling — Keep this to a minimum. But if insights or things come up, or you feel really called to journal, of course journal.
✅ Gentle movement — when you do, do it with the intention to be fully present with it and empty. But again, don’t do more than needed.
✅ Nature time — being outside without your phone, simply observing and listening — Feel into if this is “busy work” or deepens your presence and connection.
✅ Rest — Having your eyes closed, doing absolutely nothing. Giving yourself a break to do nothing, and be without guilt — you have 3 days, no rush. — a nap is okay if your body calls for it. But keep it to a minimum. Naps can also be distractions.
✅ 1 hour food for thought — 1 hour a day of conscious input. This can be a podcast, a youtube video, documentary — something that helps you expand and come even more into presence.
in simple words:
Isolate yourself for 3 days.
Nothing external or internal to distract yourself with.
Go into meditative state for most of it — observing your thought, feelings and emotions.
Journal if you really want to remember something but keep even that to a minimum.
Its about stillness, presence, letting go and exploration of whats there.
This is a guided meditation that helped me get into the energy of detaching and learning to point out what the distractions from the inside are — https://youtu.be/WGdWwIZxC2c?si=N1v1hFwCwnAvxyMk
My Reflections
This challenge started of really difficult. Everything in me wanted to distract itself in one way or another. The mind loves to seek comfort in distraction, and without them, all the parts of me I usually avoid came to the surface.
But after a couple of hours it started to turn into bliss. I was able to finish thoughts that had been looping for months and there for close of the cycle — just like emotions just want to be felt and finished, so do thoughts. The less space and time you give for your thoughts, the more will loop and the busier it gets in your brain.
After the first day, I was so happy I still had 2 more days to go. It may sound silly because 3 days of nothing is A LOT now a days. But it felt sooo good in my body, mind, spirit and being.
There’s a gift in that raw silence. Through it I found myself softening. I felt old patterns unravel, emotions move through, and a deeper connection to my body and heart. I realized how much of my energy had been leaking into things that don’t truly serve me or bring me peace.
I started gaining clarity about my life, where to go, what to do. I reconnected with my spark, my ability to set boundaries, a deep sense of safety in the world and myself. It activated and grounded in my masculine energy is all ways.
At the end of the 3 days, i felt reborn, clear, clean, directional, purposeful, powerful, and fully reset.
Your Invitation
I call this the 3-Day Reset Challenge. And I’d love for you to try it too.
You don’t need to do it perfectly — just commit to three days of stripping back what pulls you away from yourself. See what rises. See what shifts. See what you discover when it’s just you and presence.
